About Me
I was born in Melbourne, Australia, raised in Oxford, England and have resided in the charming utopia of Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the past fifteen years.
I hold 2 passports and a green card which provide me the ability (or misfortune) of being able to work in 3 continents. However, I’ve chosen to settle down in the Triangle area. People would often ask why Chapel Hill? I used to say that I got on the wrong plane. Truth be told, I moved to Chapel Hill when my father was a Professor of Philosophy at UNC, and since moving here, I’ve come to realize that there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Well, perhaps a beach in Tahiti would be fun at this very moment, but long term, I think Chapel Hill will be just fine.
The wonderful thing about North Carolina is that nature’s bounty offers so many things right at our doorstep….snakes, spiders, poison ivy and 100 degree weather even in the shade. But seriously, I am happy here and really enjoy the eclectic mix of people in our area. I often play tour guide and get a kick out of showing people around while explaining what makes our area a hip and happening place. The liberal vibe of Chapel Hill is refreshing and makes anyone feel welcome.
My education consists of a BA in Psychology from UNC, Chapel Hill and a Master’s degree in Business Psychology from the University of Westminster in London, England. However, after years of selling gourmet cooking equipment at Kitchenworks in University Mall, I decided that perhaps I should get a bigger kitchen and thought that in the process of obtaining one for myself, I might sell a few along the way. So, if you need a bigger kitchen, an extra bedroom, or a place in the country to retire, why not give me a call?
